I am writing to tell you, and any others who wish to know, just how important you have been to me, particularly during the period when I was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. It was of course a very tough spell, especially during the chemotherapy, when I felt very dark and bleak at times. The acupuncture helped to calm me down and relieved some of the discomfort. I remember listening to meditative CDs your recommended as I lay there, visualizing health and better spirits, and feeling much more optimistic at the end of my session than when I arrived. But more than anything else you were incredibly kind to me, and encouraging in ways that have less to do with any technique than with your very deep empathy and wish to be helpful. For this–your kind healing spirit–I am especially grateful.
